We are hiring a permanent full-time Semi Truck Driver.
The position will be operate semi tractors with lowbed trailer for hauling farm equipment. Experience is essential and ability to operate a loader and heavy equipment is an asset.
Some key responsibilities include:
-Overseeing all aspects of the condition of the truck unit, including loading and unloading.
-Operating equipment with safety and ensuring cargo is delivered in an appropriate manner.
-Record keeping of distance traveled and other information. 65% long haul, and 35% short haul.
-Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicle.
Successful applicant must have the following qualities:
-Valid Class 1A license.
-Minimum 3 years of experience.
-Clean driver's abstract.
-Be able to work as a team or independently.
-Weekend and overtime work may be required.
You must be able to work extended hours during Spring and Fall.
